Welcome Spring to the Northern Hemisphere!  (Welcome Autumn to my Genki Friends down south!)  Spring brings forth a rainbow of color, something I always look forward to inspire my workouts.  It’s also a nice added benefit to not be freezing as normal throughout the winter months.  This year is a bit different in my case, as many of you already know, seeing as we have moved to Southern California.  During our days living in Tehachapi, California (mountains located just south of Bakersfield), the weather was similar to South Bend, Indiana so the difference was not as drastic.  Now we have moved into our house down south, it is much warmer throughout the winter, so spring is not as drastic of a change compared to the east coast.  Nonetheless there is a variance between the seasons here as flowers are popping up all around.  This change peaks my interest to note the differences while running outside, then I take photos later while walking the furry baby.

Noting these differences can become very motivating and encouraging on those days when running outside isn’t high on the list of items to do.  When was the last time you really took the time to look around you while out on a walk or run?  What changes have you noticed lately, I would love to know what your area looks like and the changes occurring at the moment where you live.
