Huntsville, Alabama as you may remember from my last blog post is the location we chose for our 10th Anniversary celebration mini vacation. Our goal is to travel to all of the states and territories of the USA together. Alabama was a great selection seeing as Genki Husband is in a peak season for work and we intend on possibly going overseas this fall season. Alabama is about a 12-14 hour trip so the drive one-way can easily be done in one day for us. As we researched the Huntsville area, we found one of the popular destinations beyond the Air and Space Museum is the Huntsville Botanical Gardens.
The view as you enter the gardens.
The Botanical Gardens has a exhibit going until July 26th called, Nature Connects, Art with LEGO® Bricks. The gardens have brought together LEGO® Certified Professionals to build realistic art exhibits out of legos to showcase around the grounds for about a month. For more information please see Lego Art at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens written up about this art exhibit and the dates associated with it.
When you see the lego structures, it is hard to tell if it is made from a different type of media or in fact Legos.
A little more information about the LEGO art work on display outside in the gardens.
There’s a sneak peak of the Huntsville Botanical Gardens in Alabama, USA. I will be posting another blog with some more photos for you to enjoy the atmosphere of the gardens and also my personal opinion of the gardens. Hopefully you are enjoying your mini virtual tour of Alabama!
