Vegan options in south bend, indiana Noodle Alley

Let me first start out with stating we eat other things than Thai but it just happens there are oddly a lot of Thai options in the South Bend, Indiana area.  In Virginia while we did have a fantastic Thai restaurant, it was about 30 minutes from our house so we did not frequently visit for meals.  So I guess we are catching up for lost time, or Genki Husband just has a major addiction to Thai curry.  I’m guessing it’s the later… but I’m not complaining.  Here are the vegan options at Noodle Alley in the South Bend, Indiana area. Our Experience: Genki Husband and I visited this restaurant on a whim.  We ordered everything without egg and animal products.  After waiting about an hour it seemed for our food (the place was not busy and no take-out orders), we received our food with egg.  This is always something I really dislike to see after ordering everything very carefully.  I always feel terrible ordering everything very specific and always apologize for being direct in what we want to eat.  So when something comes out with animal products, it is disheartening.  Additionally our wait staff was not very helpful in ordering nor did he come back after our food was served.  The food itself was Thai but items seems to have come from cans (such as the mushrooms) and nothing seemed fresh.  All the food seemed to be lacking in something, maybe it was just us or maybe it was the restaurant.  If I were to go out for Thai again, we would go to the other options available.  I guess what I am saying is I would not suggest this restaurant to my friends.  It breaks my heart to say that about a restaurant but if the staff do not put everything possible into the product I would not recommend it to all of you.  Anyone been here?  Comment Below
