Vegan options at Thai Essence West Lafayette, Indiana

As mentioned in the last post, my youngest niece was having a birthday celebration so we spent the entire day in Lafayette & West Lafayette, Indiana area.  Purdue University is located right around the corner from a popular Thai restaurant called Thai Essence.  This is going to sound like I am geriatric but when I went to PU, there were no Thai restaurants in the area.  There were three Japanese restaurants and two Indian restaurants but no Thai.  It seems right out of uni, things really sprung up thanks to some very giving gifts to the university.  Now there are a lot of options and thankfully this is one that everyone should visit.  Genki Husband and I love this restaurant and go here each and every time.  Seeing as we are normally two of the few speaking English in the restaurant, it is a good sign for the quality of the food.  Here are the vegan options available:

Our Experience:  We absolutely love this restaurant!  Since it has opened we have visited it each and every time we go to West Lafayette, Indiana.  All of the food has been fresh and delicious each time.  If you are eating on a budget, go directly to the entrees as the appetizers are rather small but the entrees are large enough to feed a hungry person.  The wait staff is super friendly and we have never had any issues with anyone not knowing what vegan options are available or what the term even means.  I would actually go here just for the friendly staff too.
