For whatever reason, I’m thrilled to say the least, the temperatures have increased even though it’s the beginning of October in the Northern Hemisphere. Fall may have begun but it doesn’t mean we have to have a decrease in temperatures – hooray! Taking advantage of the weather is something I’m not going to take for granted to so I made this milk shake with some leftover Adzuki Bean Paste and headed out to the sunshine. Sometimes something simple is the best for warm fall days. As an added benefit, the almond milk froths up fast so it gives an appearance of something much more fancy.2-4 tbsp adzuki bean paste 1 c unsweetened almond milk (or any non-dairy milk) 1 c ice ½ tsp vanilla extract, optional Blend all the ingredients in a blender and pour into a glass. Super simple!
Alternatives: ½ c almond milk + ½ c strong brewed coffee instead of just almond milk; and/or toss in some kale for added vitamins
