When meteorologists start with the phrase “blistering heat”, one knows it’s going to be a hot one.  Such funky weather southerners endure around here.  The week’s average temperature is 105F/41C and then add in extreme humidity that sits down below the clouds.  Fun times but just not a food haven.  If you read last week’s WIAW #10, you will be glad to know we purchased food but unfortunately it’s to hot to enjoy it.  So funny!

Breakfast: Uncooked Oats with chia seeds and unsweetened almond milk

Snack: Watermelon

Lunch: Ezekiel English Muffin with IKEA Vegan Caviar and Earth Balance with side of homemade Tabouli

Snack: Watermelon

Dinner: New Genki Recipe in the making: Japanese inspired un-fried rice with sliced cherry tomatoes and avocado slices.

Snack: Homemade Banana “Ice cream” with vegan chocolate chips, sprinkles and Nature’s Path cereal
