Little of me…

Due to changes in my life, I have gained a lot of weight (around 40 pounds to be exact) that five years ago I worked so hard to burn off.  As my 28th birthday fell on my doorstep, I thrust the door open to a new world of healthy eating and exercise.  I have always been a healthy eater, but likewise a junk food eater/drinker.  Yin and Yang must meet again…

Thank you very much Jessica! I’m glad that you enjoyed my site and the recipes I have created. All my recipes are copyright protected so feel free to contact me for more information. G.K.

  2. Hello,

I was wondering how your saurkruat turned out?? I follow another recipe for mixed vegies/salt and it just sits 3 days,,,I’ve got yours brewing right now.

    • It didn’t turn out so great. We figured it needed to be closed tightly instead of having a sauerkraut jar. Our kitchen is too moist, so there was mold in the end and couldn’t eat it. So sad! I’m sure it will turn out in a different environment and also in a tightly closed jar.

  3. Too bad!! This is day 4 and no mold or bubbling, so not sure(thought there was to be some bubbling action?)my last 2 batches did. Also my recipe says to have a lid on, but not tightly, because of possible explosions(bubbling). Thanks again for info, will try mine out today and maybe just stick with recipe for now :)

Hello, I am Sheen Mae De Austria, an Italian student in Lecce (Salento), and I am working on a project concerning the Italian style food programme. May you please tell me your email address? I’d like to invite you to a food festival we are organizing in late may 2012. Thank you very much.
