There are so many people that want to point the pointing finger to carbs lately that I want to showcase this website article from WebMD that helps describe carbs into more detail than what generally people know already.  It’s called Good Carbs, Bad Carbs: Why Carbohydrates Matter to You and is really something that can help you learn how Carbs are good for your body, especially when you work out and are trying to lose weight.  A healthy balance of all foods is the best method for weight lose, it helps one to not “cheat” and/or give up.
